Mr. Joseph Alani Famakin is a retired Police Officer who attained the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) before bowing out meritoriously from the Nigeria Police (NP).

He also served with the United Nations Peace Keeping Missions at Bosnia, Kosovo, and Haiti as Monitor, Deputy Station Commander, Station Commander, Regional Logistics Officer respectively.
In recognition of his service, he was appointed as an Assistant Director of intelligence by the National Agency for the prohibition of Trafficking in Person (NAPTIP) and posted to Lagos Zone as the Commander of the 6 States on the South West of Nigeria. A post he held for five (5) years.
He is an active member of the International Chief of Police Association and He is married with children.
